I fell in love with Factions the moment the Marketplace finished loading. It has the feel of a sequel that you like, if that makes sense. There are good sequels, and there are bad sequels, and there are sequels that are only good because of what they're sequels to. This is a good sequel.
My mesmer's going to be jealous of my new assassin before Monday. >_>;
(Note: First person to call them 'sins'? Yea, Black Mantis->Fox Fangs->Twisting Fangs->Moebius Strike.)

Thanks :)
Like I was saying before, wanted to get a positive thread going Thanks for the support. I might have a little trouble keeping it alive over the weekend, but I'll give it my best shot. Going to visit the Girlfriend this weekend. She is about an hour away, and doesn't have an internet connection, let alone a comp Which is one of the reasons I dig her. Anyways, If you believe in the thread I would love help over the weekend to keep it alive for all the prospective peeps out there as well as the devs If they don't know what they are doing right then how can they do more of it Vice Versa too
Thanks again,
-Cym

Only thing I don't like is how dark the petrified Forest is. makes it really had to see all the DETAIL Anet has put into the graphics. I like most of the skills I see; even if they're repeats, it makes for backup potential (I LOVE Health Sheath!) The quests are farmiliar but the Luxon Mission was TOUGH! And i think I understand why the Border conflict missions are RA style: it prevents 1 uber guild or build from dominating an area, which means neither side will ever have a clear advantage, so the lines will shift, but no crushing defeats.

Loving it!!!!!!!!!!
Love Assassin soo much, looks cool, good dance (female) and the shadow stepping is class, can't wait till i start factions at lvl 1 with my assasin,
Graphics are GREAT, well done Anet!
Love the Green eyed White Tiger pet ^^ i might even trade my spider in for that!!
Monsters: Not the same but simliar! some of the designs are the same, but mostly unique, and they smarter, patrols always around, makes you have to think more!
Stil undecided with which Faction, leaning towards Luxon, But Kurzick are cool........................hmmmm
on the whole 10/10 again!

I like what I've seen. Though I will admit, the time to fix the Kurzick mission bug (must be level 0 to 0 to play) has been somewhat long

Rpg...
It's going to be hard to get a real feel for the RPGing in the preview cause they are only letting out 2 quests for the storyline . Guess they want you to really pay for the rest of those. hehe.
And I hope the bug fixes are checked and fixed soon as well. It will definately help if you post all you can about the bugs on the Offical Bug Report thread here... http://www.guildwarsguru.com/forum/s...d.php?t=142817.
Anyways, hope you all are still enjoying yourselves.

off for the weekend...
I know it might sound kind of lame, but I really would like this thread to stay alive. Not cause of any other reason than to just get a lot of people on a positive note about the game, especially since there is a lot of the other.
I imagine that once people take a break from the preview they will see thread and post, but it has to stay up here for them to see it.
So, anyways, just give it a little bump or a nudge to keep it up here for them if you would like to help I'll do my best to get to a comp this weekend and give it an update as well
Thanks for all the support. Hope you all have a good weekend And have fun with the preview
Wish I was there

(...wonder what is the value of signed...anything over 1 is pretty big ^^)
I love the new henchies. Great thinking on them! Haven't checked out their skills yet, but seems like PUGs might not be needed anymore ^^.
The skills are great! I'm just disappointed that there are so many new skills...o well! Viper's Nest sounds so good...as does Maruader's Shot too...you can probably tell I like Rangers ^^.
The Elite Swordsmanship skills are better than Hundred Blades!...I think...haven't checked them at max attributes but they sound great from the description in the skill. However, there seem to be too many attacks that cost 2 adrenaline with a lot of damage...seems a little imbalanced...but again, haven't checked at max attributes.
Anyways...WAY TO GO!
ArenaNet FTW!

The fact that i'm still at work for another hour (and only got to play about 30-45 mins last night) is aggrivating me to no end >_<
It's aggrivating, because the time I played late last night was absolutely wonderful! Whoever is doing ANet's graphics work is a bloody genius!

Let me start by saying that I haven't posted to the threads in alomst a year ... but for all the people who are bashing C2 ...
This update is going to be fantastic! I wanted to sign on and say something earlier in the day but I figured I'd be impartial and wait until I had finished work ... tried it out for myself ...
The game looks fantastic ... I personally like the new armors ... I was committed to picking up Factions prior to this preview, and I'm now dying to get in and go through the FULL content this is going to offer ...

The weird thing for me is that on my old computer, the Factions content just FLIES. It's as if I installed more memory or a faster processor. I'm guessing it's the new DX9 routines, but everybody else seems to be reporting slowdowns
I'm running an Athlon 1800XP with half a Gig of old DDR and an ATI X800 Pro.
Thought it was because I was in early (08:01 GMT on the dot), but when I checked there were 12 Euro English districts!
Anyway, it looks fantastic and the new content is truly awesome.

Great job Anet. I think you guys brought out the asian theme even better than Jade Empire. Being an Asian myself, I appericate some of the nice looking Asian looking face rather than those generic slant eyed ones you see in most games. thanks for the great game and keep up the good work!
